Should I put the rock in the / dry wet protion of a sink or completely submerged rock?
For some reason, I just bioballs seen people using the / Dry a humid chamber sump rock music and live completely submerged in a home made (home depot large plastic bucket) setup.c any explain why?
I do both, using varying wuality base rock in your sump. As to why? Well However, knowledge. Most filters come with bioballs wet dry., So that is what people use. They are great for surface water and stirring. But they are not good for reef systems as they accumulate debris and maintain very high levels of nitrates. Live rock contains a lot of nooks and crannies and has an area of amazin surface is pre-populated with beneficial bacteria.
