Jean Paul Gaultier Perfumes – Understand The Attraction
Known as a bad boy with talent, Jean Paul Gaultier began his fascination with fashion at an early age, skipping school to visit his grandmother, who encouraged him and helped him to sketch out his designs. These he sent to fashion designers and was the center of the gossip in his grandmother’s social circles. Though not formally trained in design, he was focused and achieved a great deal of success with innovative and bold designs that were often controversial. With his success, he expanded his work to include perfumes.
Classique is one of the Jean Paul Gaultier perfumes that has met with great success, offering wearers a unique blend of orange flowers and spices, melding with aldehydes and sweet Oriental floral fragrances. A very classic blend as the name would suggest, this is appropriate for day or evening wear, whether casual or elegant. The fragrance became almost as popular for its packaging. It is bottled in a torso which is wearing a metal corset inspired by the ones Jean Paul created for the singer Madonna. The perfume bottle is then sold in a can instead of the traditional box.

Enjoy the blend of tuberose, berries, raspberry leaves, and sweet orange layered on top of midtones of pimento and pink peppercorn. Take note of the aromatic base of cedar and violet woods, blended carefully with crystalline musks. Once again, Fragile is packaged in a unique way. The fragrance bottle itself looks like a snow globe, the liquid in the globe is the fragrance, and the bottle houses an internal grid to collect the gold flakes (like snowflakes) when the scent is sprayed. A plain cardboard exterior packaging, stamped with the word “Fragile” completes the look.

This alcohol free fragrance is light and refreshing, much like a dip in the ocean.
