How do I get sharpie ink out of 800TC Egyptian Cotton?
My sharpie pen (red) fell on my brand new 800 Count Egyptian Cotton (pale blue) duvet. I have tried vodka, alcohol, and even clorox 2. I can’t get it out. I have even been using one of those mini ultrasonic scrub-brushes to try and lift the stain. I am afraid to wash it until I get the stain out. Any advice? I also added oxy-clean laundry liquid too.
I agree with the Hairspray solution. It also removes lipstick.
If it fails……..try ” Zout ” stain remover from Target, Walmart or local grocery store. It works for me on lots of hard stains.
