Is it morally ok to share 1 drink with free refills?
My brother in law gave me a hard time because my husband and I usually share a drink when we go out to fast food restaurants. We get one drink, usually a large but sometimes a medium, we share it to save money. He usually drinks it really fast and we get a refill, and then we usually get one more refill before we leave.
My brother in law was lovingly giving me a hard time about it. Just saying that he wouldn’t do that because its like stealing. He said its like ordering one plate at a buffet and then eating off of it with my husband.
What do you think?
I used to think it was wrong but after thinking it over….I think the people at fast food places compute this into their budget so it is ok to share a cup and get those refills…they figure you bought food so they made their money….go ahead and drink…I mean they know you aren’t going to hang out at the store all day getting refills…
Also I don’t think soft drinks cost much…they just charge us more than 100% for it…it is okay…
