Versus Compatible Toner Cartridges
Compatible means that the toner cartridge can be used on your specific hardware and is not original brand. Fill toner cartridges is big business in the U.S. and the world. Many companies choose to buy the compatible version instead of the original equipment manufacturer, OEM. Compatible can also mean completely brand new but generic.
In early refills were not many options. Toner and replacement internal parts are not readily available, so the quality was not as much as one would like. In the past few years everything has changed. One of the components Important things to be replaced is the drum and drum blade. These were designed to only last the life of the toner used from the cartridge. If I had to return to use the original battery that would cause many print defects such as printing of light, trademarks and various image defects. False assumptions: OEM never fail
Having been in business for over twenty years it seems that most people believe that if the original (OEM) toner cartridge that must be inexhaustible. This is simply not true. I have seen many OEM cartridges fail. Some of the defects and some of the causes of customer induced. Here is a list of cases induced by customer negligence or error. An ISO 9001 has the highest standards and can be trusted to install all core components and put together the right way. This is important, next Once you buy toner cartridges only if they ask. If you look a little strange or if there is a long pause and not know what you are talking about, stay away from buying them. There may be some good boots out there that are not certified ISO 9001, but for the most part, this will help eliminate the bad.
Pros and cons of compatible toner cartridges
Compatible Pros: Cost, the average savings can be 50% to 70% of retail prices OEM. If several thousand impressions, this can add up. Recycling benefits of our world, as it reduces the amount we put into our landfills.
Compatible Cons: You will be sure to buy quality compatible cartridge does not suffer badly.
OEM Pros: Consistency, the toner yield, new parts, has been knowingly and was created by the OEM.
OEM Cons: Cost, ink cartridges can be much more expensive.
