why do chinese people like to take me photos?
it really freaks me out, why? as if i am a celebrity or something. what are they gonna use it for? whenever i go shopping, to parks, to classes, everyone want to take a photo with me. i can be just passing and dozens are pointing their phones to me. haven’t they ever seen a black person or what? why are they obsessed with me? every time they are talking about me, how black can run fast, how black can play bball, how black have nice body. i don’t run, i am a student.
Haha yes. I AM Chinese, but I was raised by an American family and I visited China for a camp with some other American born Chinese kids. When the people heard that we were from America, they became so excited and asked for stories and pictures and everything!
Chinese people are really curious of people from other countries. It’s not often that they meet anybody other than normal citizens in China. They just want a memory that they actually met someone out of China before. They’re just amazed by you, don’t take it as anything bad =]
