Deaf keychain sellers?
You know the people selling keyrings to people sitting outside the pubs, etc? They put a plastic card little on the table and explained that they are deaf and this is their way to make money and be independent, etc. They sell pens sometimes. Usually way too much money. Anyway, I heard two different stories: one is that they are not really deaf. The other story, more incredible is that they are working for gangsters! Does anyone know anything about this? I can not believe that would deal with petty gangsters like me, but then again, after all, the recent history of Asian DVD sellers is mafia …
Deaf Usuly are truly fair. Sometimes you hear pretending to be deaf. I have not heard anything about his idea of gangs. Back quite a few years ago a sell small cards with the ASL alphabet on them. There are lots of jokes about these cards also means more. Deaf people are like you or me, but like you and me who may have other problems. Weather its just change that for keeping a job, or for other reasons they cannot keep a job. Whatever the reason, are nowhere in the sale of key chains, cards, etc to get some money. I have a funny story … The person was not selling keyrings, but was pretending to be deaf. I started talking to him and he had no idea what she was signing. He confessed and did not sulkingly he was hearing. A minuites later me caught in the act. I walked away.
