Is there an evironmentally friendly Pen Ink at all, in pens on the market? No proven harm to environment?
No proven harm to the environment when it biodegrades?….Please help I need my Ink…
Many inks are carbon based. Oak gall inks are made from natural products—cannot be used in Fountain Pens. McCaffery’s has a line of inks also made from natural products (bugs, plants… stuff like that).
The amount of ink I would use in a lifetime is negligible compared to other consumables; most papers that are recycled are not suitable for inks sadly. Know there are printers that are going ‘green’ with inks used in presses.
