Blue is a primary color, but Blue Ink is not?

I was testing colors of a sharpie pen, blue, black, and purple mixed with water on paper. Black turned out to be made of orange, blue, and yellow and purple turned out to be just purple, but blue turned out to be yellow and some other greenish color.

The primary colors of LIGHT are red, blue and green. The primary colors of (as you put it) ‘inking’ are yellow, cyan and magenta. I believe they are actually considered secondary colors of light.
