Where can you buy car paint markers?

I want to find car paint markers that don’t come off for awhile. I bought window chalk to write on your car and it rubbed off in the rain! I want mine to stay on. Please help, thanks

Efficient Wall Painting Techniques

Painting the rooms in your home can be quite the project, but don’t be afraid.

Do you look at the walls in your home and keep telling yourself that you’ll re-paint them eventually? It’s okay if you haven’t gotten around to it for the last five years, you’re busy, I get it. Everyone cringes at the thought of having to move the furniture around, covering the floors with plastic, and seriously regretting your color selection. It’s natural, but I’m here to talk you through the process.

If you have children, like I do, you walk by a certain area of your home and see their Crayola art playfully defacing your home, or perhaps your weak attempts to remedy it. Hopefully they haven’t touched the Permanent Markers (hopefully, if you have kids, you don’t even keep permanent markers in the house!). If you’re like some, you’ve slowly begun to accept your children’s “innocent” markings as modern art. Don’t! Trust me, get your kids a playroom and be done with it. Instead of thinking that you have to paint the entire house at one time, do it one room at a time. This won’t feel as overwhelming. If you’re like me, you’ll probably start with hardest paint project and then work your way down to the easiest one so burn out will be less of a problem.

There are many different ways to paint your walls. You can choose to do one color, faux painting, using stencils, multi-colors, etc. If you’re re-painting you want to make it look nice and last a long time. Make sure to spend a lot of time taping so it doesn’t end up looking sloppy on the ceiling or baseboards.

Ready, set, go!

• When taping the room, run a putty knife along the tape to get a tight seal.
• If you’re painting a larger space, it’s more convenient to have a bucket of paint instead of a paint tray so you don’t have to re-fill it as often.
• Work in a “w” pattern in small three-foot sections when rolling walls as this will even out the paint as you go.
• If you need to stop in the middle of a paint job, finish a whole wall and stop at a corner or you’ll end up with lap marks that will be difficult to mask.
