Is there an age limit to buy lighters?
OK, I’m pretty sure there is NOT, but at my grocery store they have self-serve stations and I’ve seen BIC lighters in separate packs right next to check out. Could I just check them out myself? By the way I don’t know if this matters but the supermarket in question is Kroger.
Some places don’t care. Yet, some places you have to be 18 or older. My sis tried to get a lighter at some place at the mall and they would not let her. But grocery stores don’t have as big of restrictions. But then again, when I was just 18 I tried to buy a lighter from a gas station and the asked to see ID. So it depends.
