Outline Marker
What should I outline my pictures with?
Should I outline my pictures with the same coloured-marker or should I outline with a black marker. OR should I just not ouline?
Which one will look the best? Opinions please?
Whether you should or shouldn’t outline depends on the look you want in your drawings. There IS no “best” except what works best for you.
Before going nearly 100% digital, my favorite color medium was colored markers. Sometimes, outlining was the best options and sometimes it was not.
By the way, for any line art that I still create on paper, my favorite inking medium is an ordinary Sharpie brand marker. They are cheap, very dark, quick drying, permanent and available at virtually ANY grocery, convenience and liquor store and bait shop in the country. I don’t have to look around for a specialty art supply store to replace a dried out pen. Pretty handy when I’m out of town somewhere.
