Top 5 Mini Inkjet Printers For The Summer 2009
The mini inkjet printers industry may still be in its nascent stages but that has not stopped leading manufacturers from experimenting in this niche. Here are the top 5 mini printing devices available today.
Epson PictureMate Deluxe Viewer
The new addition to the original version of the Epson PictureMate is the Deluxe Viewer version. The latest version has an LCD of 2.4 inches, flipped up to facilitate easy cropping, selection as well as viewing of images. You can also choose to display the images via a slideshow. These printers are very portable and are replete with a functional handle. It is very easy to setup the printer as all you need to do is plug the adapter, fold the handle back and flip the output tray in front downwards. This mini printer also comes with a very compact design, performs economical prints as well as slots for media cards. The only drawback to this printer is its slow performance but other than that, it scores great on the portability aspect because of the battery pack included. The average price of this printer is around 399 USD.
PictureMate Inkjet Photo Printer
The Epson predecessor to the Deluxe Viewer is the PictureMate Inkjet Photo Printer. This mini inkjet printer is extremely compact in terms of design, provides superior quality printing, has separate slots for media cards, can be connected to cameras directly and even external devices. In terms of operation, these printers are very easy to setup and use. The only drawbacks, which the Deluxe Viewer edition makes up for, are the lack of a battery and lack of an LCD to facilitate crop and preview of images. The operation of this printer is on AC only and so the performance is quite slow. The price of this product is around 349 USD.
Bixolon SRP-500 Mini Inkjet Printers
The printers from Bixolon are all set to change the face of conventional printing. The combined experience of HP and Samsung are brought together to create a cost effective printer. These printers have superb printing speeds of 6.5 LPS, two color printing namely red and black, instantaneous printer ink feed, multiple interfaces, high resolution of graphics, easy to load Printer Ink Cartridges, permanent printing, availability of drivers (inclusive of OPOS), drop as well as print loading and many more exciting features.
Code Master Jet Mini
These mini inkjet printers from Code Master are low in maintenance, provide a high degree of portability and come with a neat, compact design. These printers provide a high performance and come with ease of setup and installation. The print quality is high resolution and this is a heavy-duty printer. With a dimension of 101 by 113 by 220 mm, these printers are small and compact.
Canon PIXMA mini 260 personal color printer
The presence of clear TFT screens as well as an easily scrollable wheel makes these mini inkjet printers a favorite choice amongst consumers today. These printers are ideal for low volume print requirements and yet deliver high quality of photo output. You can easily select, view as well as edit digital images with a simple touch. There is a wheel for easy scrolling to help you select various printing options on the screen. The price of this product is around 292 USD.

Does anyone know anything about “permanent dentures”?
I think they’re also called mini implants. Basically, if you have the top teeth pulled, they’ll insert I believe 4 posts/screws, and then make a full upper denture and attach them permanently. (It’s the same procedure as having one tooth implanted on a post–it takes time to heal, etc.) Does anyone know anything about this? Are they durable? Are they expensive, etc?
They are fairly expensive. One of my friends has them. They generally implant “posts” and then mount the denture to the posts.Different people heal quicker then others,so healing time varies. My friend loves hers, but I opted for regular dentures, although the we went to the same dentist.I had all my teeth pulled and both plates,at the cost of $1600.00.(done in four visits).her costs were $3800.00,and took 12
different visits.I had my top teeth pulled and plate put in same day, where she had to go back several times to check healing and so on.
I guess it’s up to how you want to do it.We both ended up with great smiles though.Hope this helps some.
