What markers/pens should I use for designing a T-shirt?

I was thinking of designing my own T-shirt (plain white t-shirt) but I’m afraid to just use any ordinary marker or pen. What should I use to draw on T-shirts, so when I go to wash them, it won’t die out? Or is sharpie’s and Gel Pen good? Or even regular marker? Please, and Thank you

They sell special Fabric Markers at craft stores that are used for this purpose and come in all sorts of colors.

AC Moore or Joann’s Fabrics sells them any craft store will have them.

Apart from the normal pen we use in our everyday writing chores, there are a variety of other instruments similar in use to the pen. These instruments are the essentials that any regular office gore would require on his or her table in order to work smartly and efficiently.

Highlighter pens and correction pens are the smart tools for editing or optimizing a document for any professional. The highlighters come in various vivid fluorescent ink colours, to mark out and draw attention to keywords, sentences, or chunks of data in the documents that might be relevant or important. These pens usually use a Felt Tip, but “dry highlighters” are also used in many places. These dry highlighters apply a thin strip of highlighter tape, instead of regular ink. They are used when the need arises for the highlight to be erased later or when the paper is too thin.

Correction pens are filled with the same white Correction Fluid that comes in bottles, but instead of being applied in a brush, it can be used for precise application through the nib.

Marker pens of various types are available for office stationery purpose. Most commonly used are the permanent markers. They can be used for a wide range of office uses, ranging from marking boxes, stacks, cartons to writing on OHP transparencies and CDs. The other kind of markers that are used in offices and educational institutions are white board markers. They are a dust free substitute for chalks and black boards, and can be erased with a single wipe. These come handy for office presentations and other such purposes.

Nowadays, other office supplies like glue, UV currency checker etc are also available in pen form. The pen form has minimized the size of office supplies and increased the efficiency.
