Long Colored Pencils
To use crayon well enough, if I need a pencil, colored paper?
I wonder, as I type back to use crayons, but I remember the last time that I spent much time on a single photo and scanned my sketch paper rather ruined the quality of its texture and ended up starting all over, hehe. I have used copy paper and the colors are fine, but I'm still kind of doubtful about what they should use. Thanks!
I can use my card ivory Colored Pencils when I'm working on a sketch in my notebook. You can also use white cardboard. Some of the colors vibrant stand very well on black. I think that card has enough teeth to hold on to the role of color and is durable enough to apply color in layers. I do not think that the copy paper will do justice to their work, so do not waste your time with it other than sketches. Illustration board I have not tried because I do not illustrations work great, but you could try that when on sale. I could probably cut a table in four pieces if they are working on a project as important. You can always chat with the salespeople Michaels as they know their products and many artists who are working there to earn money for more supplies along with the payment of regular bills. Any good art store to have knowledgeable staff. You can always read on the Internet and its many good books on the use of colored pencils and paper that works best with the same techniques. You can find some good books in your local library or search Amazon and read the comments. Hope this helped a bit!
