Ink Medium
I sit next to a laser printer in a medium size room for work. Is it unhealthy?
Is it potentially cancerous, very debilitating, and a possible reason for cardiovascular disease? After printing, I smell the strong odor sometimes relatively hot ink, most likely that the toner. The model is a Brother MFC scanner / copier / printer / fax. What would help? Should I put it far away from my session location? It's right next to me, within 2 feet away. Help. I need sincere, and, if possible, well researched answers!
CNET has a good durable enough about the potential health risks. While several HP printers are said to be the worst offenders, HP was quick to denounce these findings. In short words, the results show that more studies are needed. Note that prolonged exposure to NADA will be a health risk of some kind. Like any otherwise, probably not a serious problem unless you are sitting next to the printer in one, small confined spaces with poor ventilation and is doing a lot of printing. If you're concerned about it, move the printer to another, well ventilated and connect to it through a wireless print server.
