If you're like many others in the country, most likely find you need to use an ink jet printer for some reason or other reasons (or many). It can be very helpful to understand how these printers work.
Inkjet printers drive various sized drops of Liquid Ink onto almost any material – most of the time, these printers are used with paper. There are many companies that manufacture these types of printers, but all have similar operation.
There are three types of ink cartridges: thermal, piezoelectric, and continuous. uses thermal inkjet cartridges that use heat as energy to drive the ink drops. Most inkjet printers use this type of technology.

The main problem that can cause problems with the inkjet printer is due to blockage of the ink nozzles of the printhead by drying. There are many different things you can do to prevent this obstruction, however. Some printers cover the print head nozzles with rubber caps when not using the printer.
Most inkjet printers include a feature that you reapply moisture to the printhead, an excessively dry. Regularly using the cleaning function that is included in the printer software is another way to avoid any obstruction to occur.
If you do have problems with the printer, remember to always consult the instruction manual and check the ink cartridges!
