Can the current standard issue armor stop AK-47 rounds?
Just wondering when the U.S. is in defense technology. On the other hand, why not add a layer of gel to alleviate some of the blunt force trauma of the impact of the bullet? Too much extra weight? Dragon Armor or whatever is not a standard feature. I think our government abandoned in favor of cheaper alternative.
Unless there are piercing rounds. im reffering to the NATO armor. No dragon armor.
