Eagle vs Shark – a fun Romp
Eagle vs Shark in New Zealand bears little resemblance to Napoleon Dynamite. Whereas the latter direction was amateurish and dull, here, director Taika Waititi creates an exciting movie. stop-motion animation come into play from time to time, imitating the action in the film, and is charming. We are never bored because Cohen's direction is so clever and so delicious as hamburgers sold lily as Moo movie begins. Forget about the dynamite. This film is far more explosive!
In fact, Eagle vs Shark has two very peculiar come to love. They are fun. They are also intelligent in a dorky kind of way, making it even more endearing. First, we Jarrod, played masterfully by Jemaine Clement (HBO Flight of the Conchords). Jarrod wants revenge on his old high school nemesis, who has not seen since the day he graduated about 15 or 20 years ago. He works in a record store sports a mullet, and appears to be in lust with a sexy blonde who works in a burger shop. Even invited to a costume party he and his roommate are pulling.
Meanwhile, Lily is also silly, represented by Loren Horsley also brilliantly. For some reason, she developed a love of Jarrod and so, when the girl is actually invited to the party pulled the invitation, Lily picks up top. It also includes a handful of strips of paper which read: "Lily." The previous day were used to choose the person had to be dismissed from the hamburger shop, the draw was supposed to be fair. But of course not.
She actually shows a "dangerous person in the video game contest at the party, and Jarrod impressive. He says "A little pretty, and the rest is history. Are removed Lily's brother Jarrod's hometown for a showdown with former bully. What follows is funny and just plain fun.
These characters are so well designed we see at least something about them that reminds them of ourselves, even when fighting two, we hope that will be victorious, together again.
The script is tight, excellent direction, superb acting. The laughs just never stop, especially at the end. If you want a funny movie, see title = "Eagle vs Shark Wikipedia"> Eagle vs Shark. And do not expect to Napoleon Dynamite. Expect something very superior.
