Indy Racing League (IRL) Tickets – Out with a bang
The twists and turns of several IndyCar Series for this year have provided entertainment and excitement of all kinds for IRL fans across the country, despite the 2008 season comes to an end the parties are just starting to IndyCar drivers, equipment and crew members alike. The conclusion of the IRL season this year ended with the Nikon Indy 300 in Surfers Paradise Street Circuit All in Queensland, Australia, and although Ryan Briscoe Penske team beat Scott Dixon Target Chip Ganassi to win the race, it is Dixon who is honored tonight in Las Vegas as the 2008 champion of the IndyCar Series.
A ceremony Awards will be bursting at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas this evening celebrating the success of Dixon in the IndyCar Series, while Andretti Green Racing and AFS Racing No. 27 driver Raphael Matos will also be honored at the celebration as the champion of the 2008 Firestone Indy Lights series. The celebration of the championship will in Las Palmas, and the party after the rain begins at village hall in the town following the presentation of the hardware controls and both Dixon and Matos.
Anyone who had Indy Racing League (IRL) tickets for one of the races this season knows that is an understatement to say that 2008 IndyCar Series was full of ups and downs and surprises of all kinds. The first surprise came in the unification of the IRL, as both the IRL and Champ Car finally settled and let the sport he rejoined the tacking into six teams, two runs and floods in the IndyCar Series fans next year. Another gratifying shock in the 2008 season came with a handful of winners first in the league, especially Danica Patrick won her first race (which won for the first time included Ryan Briscoe, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Will Power and Justin Wilson.) Another change drastically in the league? The domino effect of drivers and teams that began with the news of Tony Kanaan of negotiation for the ride of Dan Wheldon Target Chip Ganassi Racing and resulted in change Wheldon to Panther Racing and Vitor Meira consequential change to AJ Foyt Racing, which translates into Darren Manning contract is not renewed and, because Kanaan ended Andretti Green instead of Ganassi, Dario Franchitti rounded out the shock by signing with Ganassi Racing in the final. As if this were not enough to digest, Helio Castroneves IRL exceeded heavyweight IndyCar 2008 season with a terrible scandal, which ends in an accusation by the U.S. government one count of conspiracy to defraud and six counts tax evasion, compared to 35 years in prison, while potentially losing its coveted place with Penske Racing.
It is undisputed that the 2008 season has IRL been a wild ride, and was Ganassi's Scott Dixon, who held the longest, crossing the finish line and closest to the top of the IndyCar Series with a total of 646 points, beating Helio Castroneves Penske (629), Tony Kanaan Andretti Green (513), Ganassi, Dan Wheldon (492), Penske, Ryan Briscoe (447), Andretti Green Danica Patrick (379) and Marco Andretti (363), Rahal Letterman's Ryan Hunter-Reay (360), Oriol Servia KV Racing (358) and Hideki Mutoh Andretti Green is (346), which complete the top ten IndyCar in the classification for the year.
Although the IndyCar season is officially over, will not be long until these gentlemen (and ladies) start their engines again.
