Gift Ideas for an Artistic Child
Do you have a creative child who loves to receive new art supplies? Not sure what to get them this Christmas? Why not encourage them to express themselves artistically with some more new art supplies? There are plenty of gift options for your talented child whether it be a new colored Pencil Set or a double sided easel. Here are some gift ideas for creative children everywhere.
1. Crayola Easel- A crayola easel is a magnetic, double sided easel that provides a large working plane. Clips are included to hold paper sheets and the surface is super easy to clean. It also comes with an eraser and it’s foldable. A crayola easel comes with 4 detachable storage bins to hold the many other art supplies you may need. This is an ideal gift for young, aspiring artists. Please note this item is intended for kids aged 3-6.
2. Crayola 200-Masterworks Art Case- For any young artist 5 years and up, a masterworks art case is like a gold mine. It comes with 72 crayons, 25 colored pencils, 24 skinny markers, 16 oil pastels, 50 super Tip Markers, elmers glue, a pair of safety scissors, a tube of glitter blie, an 8-count watercolor tray, a paintbrush, and a Pencil Sharpener. This case has it all and your child will definitely want one of these this year.
3. Paint by Numbers- This is that poster sized cardboard filled with numbers corresponding to paint colors. You will have a blast with your young child when you sit down together and start painting by the number. It’s fun, relaxing, and it always turns out to be a beautifully, painted picture, no matter how talented you are. Paint by numbers are perfect for anyone aged 4 and up.
Other ideas for a young artist may be sketchbooks, coloring books, scrap booking kits, or a beautiful artist desk. Get your creative kid something with an artistic purpose this holiday season and give the gift of art.

I'm looking for. . .?
When I was a young teenager (only about 12-13 years), used to buy really big crayons. I think that Sanford called "Plastic markers Crayola RoseArt called ColorWorks and may have had its online too. They were harder than a colored pencil and not wax. Can be deleted, and mix well when coloring. Anyone have a link where I can buy these online? I really miss them! Indeed, it is not pencils, I've used before crayons! Are much more like a crayon, but more hard and waxy less!
they sound like pencils color … I have seen the works are actually color pencils, there are some at Office Depot, Hobby Lobby and probably any hobby / art store / site.
