Why is my converter box to get 0 channels?
After replacing the batteries that came with my box and hit my connections at last I have my converter box work menu. I did a channel search but came up with 0 channels. I also did a program auto channel search on the TV but had no impact. I had two channels on the TV before digital television, although I have no antenna at all. (Both channels were switched to DTV) I assume that with the converter to the mix ruined the TV reception was little. Is there some other explanation? I have a converter box Apex DT502. What is a good antenna? What a smart antenna? I probably treat my mom to the antenna and not watch TV at all times. But I suspect it may be necessary one better.
Most digital UHF channels, so you need a good UHF antenna. I have 35 miles of Chicago and transmitters could not get almost any reception of any channel with an antenna on the first floor.
